The Greater Lakes Region Children Auction is an annual event held in December in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Through the donation of volunteer's times, items from community members and companies around the Lakes Region, and the supplies needed to run the auction, the Children's Auction has raised over $4.5 million for local charities over the last 33 years.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire strives to protect the rights of our state's most vulnerable children to live, learn and grow in the embrace of a loving family. As part of the national nonprofit organization CASA for Children, our trained volunteer advocates speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children who've come to the attention of New Hampshire's family court system through no fault of their own.

The Children’s Cancer Caring Center (CCCC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation organized and operated for the purpose of supporting research and a free total care program for children regardless of race, color or ethnic origin afflicted with cancer; to administer and maintain a free ancillary programs that alleviate suffering and anguish of these children and their families; and educate individuals and groups to the profound needs of cancer stricken children.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region is a part of a nationally renowned program that provides children through the ages of high school students a safe place to go after school. Since the clubs founding over 10 years ago, it has grown and expanded into a building that allows for activities ranging from gym games, cooking programs, art classes and computer labs, which provides the youth with places to do homework and play in a safe area after school.

The Granite State Children’s Alliance, the New Hampshire network of Child Advocacy Centers makes it their mission to assist children who have suffered from abuse. Through donations, the organization will be able to continue expanding into new locations and they will be able to add a medical examination room, counseling room, and a group therapy room to their Laconia New Hampshire location so that all of their services can be found under one roof.

Through the use of donations, they are building a new high school and technical center to better serve their students. With one-on-one attention and a family environment they help girls gain confidence and to be their personal best. Through the use of donations, they are expanding and renovating their Nashua, NH facility to give them the ability to assist more families in the area.

The SEE Science Center in Manchester, NH is dedicated to providing youth as well as adults with a hands-on learning experience to make science fun. With daily demonstrations, outreach programs, and interactive learning, the center has provided countless hours of fun for the local community. Using the donations, the center will be enhancing their exhibits that promote interactive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for the Manchester community.

This year, we are proud to sponsor the Best Buddies Challenge, in which participants choose to bike 100, 60, 30, or 15 miles, or they may choose to do a 5K Run/Walk around Hearst Ranch. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization devoted to ending the isolation of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through friendship, job integration, and leadership development. Through year-round fundraising and events Best Buddies is able to create an atmosphere of inclusion for those with IDD.

The Lakes Region Community Service Foundation is one of ten area-specific agencies in New Hampshire whose goal is to assist families living with developmental disability or acquired brain disorders. Their mission is to provide community-wide support for the entire family and enhance the life of those living with these disabilities and disorders. Through the work of their 350+ employees, they are able to help 500 families and 1000 children. LRCS believes that by strengthening the individuals and their families, they are strengthening the community in which they live.

Meeting the needs all of students and helping them be the best version of themselves is the first goal of many schools, including Interlake Elementary School in Meredith, NH. We were happy to assist with their K’Motion Stool fundraiser to give children who need to move an opportunity to have a stool of their own to carry with them around the class room as they move from task to task. Through the donations provided, they were able to reach their goal of a total of 10 stools in different sizes so students are using stools that fit their individual needs.
